Our Story
A 22-YEAR JOURNEY...AND STILL GOING STRONG!
Berean Christian Academy, operating out of the facilities of the Easyville Fundamental Methodist Church southeast of Monett, first opened its doors in 2004. Thar first year, we had an enrollment of 14 students overseen by two teachers and an administrator.
By the following year, the school had grown to more than 40 students, necessitating a move to Monett Fundamental Methodist Church and an addition of new faculty. Anticipating continued growth, we began the exciting process of constructing a 60 ft x 120 ft, two story educational building with a partial basement in 2005. Our 17,000+ sq. ft. facility is situated on 9 acres located approximately a mile and a half east of Monett on Highway 60. The school was the vision of a few area pastors who were motivated by the desires of a number of families in this area for just such a ministry.
God began to lay the needs of this venture on the hearts of many people as we started receiving numerous donations, for which we praise and thank the Lord. With God's plenteous help and grace, Berean Christian Academy moved into its new building and present location in December of 2005. We obtained accreditation in July of 2008 and remain accredited through the National Association of Private School and the American Association of Christian Schools.
