Do you require uniforms?

We do not have uniforms, however, we do have a dress code, which can be found in our Family Handbook.

Do you offer a lunch program for students?

We do not offer a hot lunch program for students. Refrigerators and microwaves are available for students to store, cool, and heat their food. Concession items (chips, snacks, etc) may be purchased during lunch for 7th-12th grade.

Are you affiliated with any denomination?

We are a non-denominational Christian school. We base all of our teachings solely on Biblical principles. Our student population represents 25+ churches and a variety of denominations.

 

Do you require students to use the King James Version?

 Yes. To maintain consistency across all grade levels, Berean Christian Academy uses the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible. This is the translation incorporated into our curriculum, allowing students and teachers to study, memorize, and discuss Scripture using the same text throughout their academic experience.

 

Do students receive a full high school diploma upon graduation?

Yes, our students graduate with a diploma that is accepted by 100% of colleges and higher institutions.

Do you offer dual-credit college classes to students?

Absolutely. We are proud to offer dual credit Biology and Communication Arts to our high school students through Crowder College. These classes provide college credits at just a fraction of the costs. Crowder is accredited by the higher learning commission and credits are transferable to most other colleges and universities. 

Does BCA participate in the Missouri A+ Scholarship program?

Yes. The vast majority of our juniors and seniors participate in the A+ program, providing participants with two years of tuition and general fees at any public community college or public Vo-Tech school in Missouri.

How many course hours are required for graduation?

We require 25 course hours for high school graduation. For more information, please download the family handbook located on our home page.

Can students participate in the SRTC program?

Scott Regional Tech Center (SRTC) is a vocational training opportunity in Monett. Programs offered: Our students may participate in these programs during the afternoon of their junior and senior years, provided they are on track regarding the number of course hours required for graduation.
